Make Your Iphone Virtual Keyboard Look Like It’s Macbook Air

Macbook, Macbook Pro, & MacBook Air

Love the MacBook Air’s keyboard? Who doesn’t - it’s probably the best keyboard we’ve all seen so far. Steve Jobs claimed it’s the best keyboard Apple ever made, and he's a person who really cares about the details.

Anyway, what do you think about having that kind of keyboard on your iPhone? Sure you won’t get the feel - just the look...

Katak made this happen and now you replace the default iPhone virtual keyboard with something different, nicer, slicker. The screenshot describes it all.

In order to install it on your iPhone, you’ll need a jailbroken iPhone and you’ll also need to uninstall any other customized keyboards you may’ve be using. The MacBook Air Keyboard app is already available from Installer.app, via the Planet-iPhones source, which is part of Community Sources now.

. I think most people can agree that if they could have a more functional computer than the macbook air but keep the MBA styling and thin-ness they would buy into it. I'm looking forward to what Apple brings to the MBA in version 2.0.

Yay for jailbroken iPhones. I use Cydia much more frequently than I do Installer, so I'll have to hunt down this neat-looking keyboard sometime today.
