PC-to-Mac USB file-transfer cables and migration utilities have been out for a while, but Belkin's out today with a new take on the idea it says makes the transition "as seamless as possible." We're guessing that has more to do with the Switch-to-Mac Cable's bundled software than the dongle itself -- Belkin's custom Migration Assistant (not the OS X assistant) automatically transfers your media, files, and internet prefs, leaving you free to try on mock turtlenecks and practice your air of quiet superiority. Should be out soon for $50.

Grantwood Technology has introduced the MacVelope, a notebook sleeve designed for the MacBook Air, and the MacVelope Companion Bag. The sleeve is designed to look like a standard manila colored mail envelope, similar to what Steve Jobs used for demonstration at the 2008 Macworld Expo.

Love the MacBook Air’s keyboard? Who doesn’t - it’s probably the best keyboard we’ve all seen so far. Steve Jobs claimed it’s the best keyboard Apple ever made, and he's a person who really cares about the details.

Anyway, what do you think about having that kind of keyboard on your iPhone? Sure you won’t get the feel - just the look...

Here’s a new celebrity using the Macintosh hardware: Jessica Simpson. Really hoping, that doesn't mean MBA's going to become a 'blonde' laptop.

The "no-compromise" and "everything else is just hot air" statements are really very special.
The war for the "ultimate ultralight thin" title in the world of laptops has begun!

The golden iPod isn't luxurious enough for you? Check out this MacBook Air. Called "Golden Age", it's got a coating of 24k gold beneath 12,000 Swarovski crystals. Each crystal was applied by hand (of course). There are only 20 Golden Age Airs, so it's better hurry to get one.

Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak has slammed the iPhone and the new MacBook Air as poorly designed.

"I was really disappointed when the iPhone was introduced," Wozniak said during a press conference following his keynote speech at the Broadband and Beyond Conference in Sydney today.

The Apple co-founder also criticised the MacBook Air, which he felt had made too many hardware tradeoffs to achieve a thin form factor.

"I don't think it's going to be a hit. I'm trying to figure out a way to make the Air a part of my life because I'm a one-laptop-only person," he said.

Macbook Air raised a scandal. The first shock was its design; the second was the winchester types and the great difference between their cost. The HDD Macbook Air costs $1799, SDD increases it up to $3000 USD. What is the difference?

What is an SSD actually? Until recently no one heard of this. However the Solid-State Disk has rushed into our lives and gradually started to take its place among other gadgets. The Macbook Air was no exception. An SSD is a memory chip analogous to a flash drive. It uses cache memory as an HDD to read and write information and this type of hard drive has distinctly sped up data reading. To understand the SSD better we'll try to figure out its advantages and disadvantages over an HDD...

Many people worry, because the MacBook Air is really thin. The
invisibleSHIELD™ is the premier name in laptop scratch protection. Made from a urethane film originally used to protect the leading edges of military helicopter blades, the invisibleSHIELD™ is clear, durable, and virtually scratch-proof.
